Sessions using these techniques will be provided without charge for members of my yoga studio and music students. Fees will be charged for all others.
The authors’ writings I have studied are Paul Foster Case, Eliphas Levi, Papus, Mouni Sadhu, H. Spencer Lewis, P.D. Ouspensky, Helena Blavatsky, Paul Foster Case, Israel Regardie, and some others.
The I Ching, Chinese Book of Changes
The traditional method for this system is to form a question in the mind, then use 50 yarrow stalks (I use bamboo) that are counted out in a certain way in order to build a “hexagram”, or symbol with six lines. We then look into the reference book to get a “snapshot” of conditions in the present moment.
We can use the stalks, or we can use beads in order to get the same calculations.

Chinese Horoscopes
The calculations for this method use dates and times of birth and then the principles of Five Element Taoism are applied to assess the aspects of interpersonal relationships.

The Tarot, Builders of the Adytum
Here is a quote from Eliphas Levi, a 19th Century mystic and former Catholic Priest:
‘The Tarot is a truly philosophical machine, which keeps the mind from wandering, while leaving its initiative and liberty; it is mathematics applied to the Absolute, the alliance of the positive and the ideal, a lottery of thoughts as exact as numbers, perhaps the simplest and grandest conception of human genius. . . .
“An imprisoned person, with no other book than the Tarot, if he knew how to use it, could in a few years acquire universal knowledge and would be able to speak on all subjects with unequalled [sic] learning and inexhaustible eloquence. . .”
I use the “Rider-Waite” deck because the symbolism is close to other Western Mystical paths I have studied. There is nothing superstitious or occult in the way we will use the cards.

The Runes
This system comes from Scandinavia and uses symbols that have heiroglyphic meanings. When we toss or randomly choose the tiles, we are guided to consider the meanings as they might pertain to life in the moment.
These are two sets of Runes I made from Hickory and from Cherry wood.

Astrology, Kepler7
This computer system provides very positive interpretations of the astrological information we enter into the system. Required would be the full name of the inquirer, the time, date and year of birth, and the location of birth. Entering two or more sets of data can provide compatibility interpretations of several charts.
